Dear Friends,
I wanted to give you a little personal update on the conferences. There were so many amazing things that the Lord did, it is just hard to share them all in a short space, but I had to share some highlights!
The Lord really met with me, the team, and everyone at the conference in a way that only He can. It is so sweet to seek Him with others who long to love Him and walk in His Truth! He is so faithful and good...
The conference hostess and her husband had such a deep love for the Lord and passion to share His Truth. They run the amazing retreat center where the conferences were held. We enjoyed rich times around the table of sharing and of hearing their dynamic testimonies of the Lord’s hand in their lives over the years. We were so encouraged. It was so sweet to see their love for each other and the way that they were a powerful team in serving the Lord together. (Girls, this is the kind of marriage you want!)
The team of women that put this conference together have been gathering monthly and praying for Biblical Womanhood. They are a precious group of woman in their 50-80s. I learned so much from them. They treasure the Lord and are joyfully seeking to mentor the next generation for Him!
My parents and brother came with for the conference and are the most amazing team ever! (They are a HUGE part of LTL Ministries...) It was such a privilege to have Dad and Mom each take turns speaking with me during the question and answer time at each conference! My brother, Eric, covered the technology aspect of things, took most of the pictures you see, and helped record some sessions we hope to make available in the future! I am so grateful for my family. God’s plan is perfect.
There were amazing young women and woman at the conferences who truly wanted to follow after Jesus with all that they are. It was so thrilling to hear their passion to love Him and to seek to share Him with others... I know the Lord has great things in store as they press on to know, love, and obey Him! I love you, sweet Washington friends!
For those of you who do not yet know, my favorite reminder of the Lord and His love is anything shaped like a heart. On this trip, there were SO many hearts all over the place!
The conference center even had a heart GARDEN! We spent the Sunday afternoon after the conferences with one of the prayer friends who had a precious love for the Lord - and it turns out she loves HEARTS! Her house was decorated all over with hearts... The Lord is so amazing!
Our God is so faithful. He is worth seeking and serving with all that we are. All that He calls us to do - He will fulfill. Let us press on to know and love Him more!
