I have two big hindrances to living for Jesus: video games and lack of schedule/routine. The first has been a struggle for a long time. I can spend hours on a video game, but find it difficult to spend the same amount of time with Jesus in prayer and reading of the Word. The latter is a problem I have found this summer. Without schoolwork to force me to plan out my day and use every spare minute, I sleep in, skip my time with Jesus, and waste many hours before I really think about my Christian walk and ask whether I have even prayed that day. The school year helps me to set aside video games since most of my time is devoted to school and I get up early to read God's Word. How do I keep that discipline over the summer?
