With summer bringing longer days and earlier sunrises, I have extended my morning Bible reading. I enjoy having time to linger with God, meditating over what I have read and also reading some books that have sat on my shelf for a while. I set my phone aside so I am unaffected by the time and news headlines. I'm not thinking about what is going on outside my bedroom, but focus on Christ and Him crucified.
